R. Gilberto Gonzalez. PhD, MD

Dr. Gonzalez is Professor, Associate Chief Imaging Sciences Director of Translational Al Research, and Chief of Neuroradiology emeritus at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in biophysical chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He did post-doctoral work in molecular biophysics at the Francis Bitter National Magnet Lab at MIT. His clinical training included an internship in medicine and a residency in radiology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and a neuroradiology fellowship at the MGH. Since 1989 he has practiced at the Mgh and has been on the taculty at Harvard.
