Dr. Geethanath is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Institute- Department of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology-- at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas, Arlington/Southwest Medical Center, M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and B.E. in Instrumentation from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Prior to joining the faculty at Columbia University in 2018, Sairam was Head, Medical Electronics Department and Director, Biomedical Research Centre at Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Research Associate, Imaging Physics and Engineering at Imperial College of London.
